Well I've been dreaming about a button Cross at Rivergate Church since I saw one in a Church in Llandudno and, today, was the day when my dream came true :-)
Thank you to Robert for making it for me and to Robert and Diana for getting the buttons and glue.
Today, (13th March) both morning and afternoon nursery (roughly 70 little ones) from George Carey School visited the Church and put their prayer button on the Cross - as well as some of staff, teachers and parents.
It doesn't matter what size, colour, shape or decorative a button you have - they are all made for the same purpose. It is the same with you and me - we were made to praise God and when we stand in front of the Cross our size, colour, shape, status doesn't matter because God died and rose again for you and for me. Why? because he loves us dearly ...
Thank you to everyone who took part.
