This year, has a Church, we have participated in two events which has enabled us to focus on the two World Wars which happened in the last century - we did this by remembering those who died and also those who survived and then had to live with their memories - many silently, unable to share with family and friends.
The first event took place on Friday the 6th of June, 70 years since the D-Day landings, people were invited to light a candle and to sign the prayer book. We were delighted that many took the opportunity to come into the Church, some for the first time, to light a candle and spend some time in reflection.
